We are looking to strengthen our team with the following appointment:

Ravensbourne is looking to recruit a dynamic, creative & innovative educator to join the BA Hons Fashion Promotion team.  This award winning course offers students a multi disciplinary approach, enabling students to gain a broad range of skills including imaging, publication production, marketing, digital awareness and content creation including fashion film. The course and its delivery reflects the diversity of the contemporary and evolving fashion industry and encourages practice and experimentation with emerging technologies. There will be an emphasis on collaboration, with our existing courses, as well as with our industry partners.

The successful applicant will have a first degree or post-graduate qualification in a relevant subject, be able to demonstrate recent professional knowledge and hold at least 2 years of teaching experience at HE level in photography and digital film production.  Excellent organisational skills and the ability to engage students directly with their chosen industry will be of significant benefit, and the ability to deploy creative learning and teaching methods, and to innovate in curriculum design would be advantageous.

Applicants will be expected to have up to date skills in all aspects of the work of a professional, commercial digital photographer and film maker, including proven business practice, pre/post production and digital work-flow. The knowledge and interest to develop and deliver innovations to the curriculum, using a variety of teaching methods, is necessary. A high level of technical understanding and ability is essential.
