Ravensbourne is proud of its progress and approach to equality and diversity. We continuously strive to improve the diversity of our staff and students, monitoring closely our recruitment and workforce profiling equality data on an annual basis. This allows us to set ourselves ambitious operational targets to improve the representation of staff from ethnic minority backgrounds, increase the proportion of women in academia and staff with declared disabilities to name a few. Progress against these targets is monitored regularly for report to the institution’s governing bodies.

Ravensbourne is a two-ticks badge holder and operates a Guaranteed Interview Scheme. This means any applicant who declares a disability and meets the minimum criteria for the role they are applying for is guaranteed an interview.

We also enlist the services of an external Disability Advice Line for existing and potential staff with any disability related issue. Any information you provide will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act and no personal information will be disclosed to Human Resources without the full agreement of the individual.
