Candidates wishing to be considered for advertised roles are required to complete a full application form. CVs alone will not be considered, which ensures a fair and transparent process for all.
All roles are listed under ‘Current Vacancies’ on the careers site. Once you select the job you are interested in, you can also download:
- job description (including person specification)
- framework for conditions of service
- recruitment schedule (including date of interview, details of the panel, closing date and any other relevant information)
- any additional documentation relating to the role
Once you are happy to proceed, click on ‘Apply for this Job’. New users will need to register. Anyone wanting an application pack in an alternative format should contact Human Resources or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The system will then take you into the main application form, where you will be required to complete all sections. You can save and go back into the form to complete in stages if you need to.
Please try to allow enough time to complete an application. You will be asked to respond to competency based questions, in addition to the standard educational/work history questions, which require a greater level of detail.
Rather than 'See CV' for the competency answers, we would encourage you to refer to the job description and person specification in order to tailor your answers specifically to the job. This will showcase your enthusiasm for the role and highlight to the panel that you have considered how you would meet the expectations of the role.
Applications should be submitted by 11pm on the closing date. Any applications received after this date will not be considered.
